TITLE: Tutor (Anderson University Students)

 

LOCATION: Calhoun Academy of the Arts

 

DURATION: Begins March 2, 2026, and lasts 8 weeks

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Candidate must be actively enrolled and in good standing with Clemson University's Teacher Residency Program.
• Candidate must be available to assist during the times determined by the school principal. 

 

OBJECTIVE: To provide students with academic support in the areas of reading and mathematics in order to meet or exceed grade level performance expectations.  

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES: 

1. Collaborates with administrators and teachers. 
2. Assists with the collection of data, analysis of data results and organization of the results.
3. Delivers intensive prescriptive remediation/instruction to students to increase academic achievement in reading and math using research-based programs.
4. Provides the classroom teacher and administration with regular reports regard student progress.
5. Maintains and submits accurate and up-to-date management records of all students’ progress.
6. Maintains confidentiality concerning student records.
7. Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: 2-5 hours weekly; $20/hour; tutoring begins on March 2, 2026 and will last for 8 weeks
